I previously have used another brand's flexible tube snorkel (slightly collapses while breathing) and an older Riffe rigid tube snorkel (lots of drag on the dive down).
This one is a very good compromise of the two. It breaths very well and has only a bit more drag than my full silicone one.
The only negative is that there are seams from the injection molding on the mouthpiece that start to irritate the inside of my lips on a longer day.

Simple snorkel design that isn’t overly flexible.
I’ve had issues in the past with other brands where my snorkel would “wave” and shake my mask while diving (due to too-flexible material/construction). That hasn’t been an issue with this one - the scout is rigid except for the attachment and mouth piece. making for much more comfortable dives
