Kimi Werner filets a fish on the shore of Indonesia
RESOURCE CONSERVATION IS A RIFFE HUNTING PHILOSOPHY.
In Jay’s days of participating in spearfishing competitions, he eventually felt sorrow by the amount of fish that were taken, both large and small. Jay recognized the devastating effects. There would be none left for the future generations. This shaped his vision to adopt the practice of taking only what is needed for consumption.

“All divers should protect the waters they swim and hunt in, ensuring future divers the experience and excitement of freediving that I’ve had over the past seventy years. I strive to produce high quality, spearfishing and diving equipment capable of handling any condition."

"Selective Divers set their sights on those few prize fish for consumption. Be Selective, Fish for the Future.”  – Jay Riffe

    To Small!

The website promoted the use of the items with scuba diver specifically, along with other adventures, such as snorkelers. Living in the Pacific Northwest I wear extra extra large fins with dry suit boots. There is no possibilities that these accommodate. There is nothing specific in the language that says that they should not be used in this environment. they are somewhat expensive with shipping and I believe the language should be adjusted for adventures to use them in warm water climates using closed healedfins. I do not find them useful and they should not be promoted for cold water diving or diving with open heeled fins. I will not be using them, not because I do not like them but because they are not large enough, the rubber should be accommodated to fit divers wearing dry suits and dry suit boots up to and including double extra large open heeled, fin or say specifically that it is not intended for cold water divers or divers that choose to wear shoes over the size of 10 or maybe 11. They have no use to me unfortunately. and the process to return them, I fear would be quite lengthy, trying to explain my case.

    Hi Peter,

Thank you for your feedback on the fins. We're sorry to hear they did not accommodate your cold water diving needs and dry suit boots as expected. We are curious as to where on the website was stated the promoted use of these Fin Keepers specifically with scuba divers?

Providing more details upfront would help set the right expectations. We appreciate you taking the time to explain the fit issues you encountered - it will help us improve how we describe the fin keepers' intended uses.

Please feel free to initiate a return by visiting https://speargun.com/pages/returns-exchanges . Thank you again for the constructive feedback.
