My old Riffe power bands, the longest lasting power bands, are being replaced out of non necessity. They are still fully functional and exhibit very light wear. After 4+ years of heavy use in cold water conditions, they are being vacuum sealed and packed away for a back-up pair in the event of the failure of my new set. * When I purchased my Eurogun the sales guy recommended I make a cover for my bands by simply cutting off a sleeve of an old wetsuit, I always kept it on the gun whenever it wasn’t in the water, this could be half the reason my old bands are still stoning fish.
